Quirks For All: A BNHA Fanzine is looking for heroes!

QUIRKS FOR ALL: A Boku no Hero Academia fanzine for charity is taking artist applications from July 16th to July 24th!

✊🏾 THEME:

QUIRKS FOR ALL will be a zine featuring students attending the all-inspiring U.A. High. The cast will be made up of YOUR ORIGINAL CHARACTERS in a full color, perfect bound, limited edition zine to be printed in Fall/ Winter 2017. 

You can expect 55-60 8” x 11” pages of full-color art: character designs & full scene illustrations. 

Each selected artist will have a full page illustration and a character bio page in the classic BNHA style.

✊🏾 CHARITY:

All proceeds for this zine, after printing & shipping costs, will be going to The Children’s Aid Society in support of their LINC Youth Justice Program: A support network for at risk youth that aids the difficult transition from juvenile justice facility back into the community!

The physical zine campaign will end in October 2017 during National Youth Justice Awareness Month. More info on the charity and their programs can be found here.

✊🏾 SUBMISSION DATES:

The application period closes on July 24th, midnight EST. We will email accepted artists by July 30th of the following week. Since we’re aiming for an art deadline of Late August please look through our timeline below and ensure you have the time!

7/16/17 – 7/24/17: Applications open
7/30/17: All notifications of acceptance go out
8/1/17: List of artists publicly announced
8/27/17: Final artwork due!
Early September: Generosity.com campaign opens
Early October: Generosity.com campaign closes and fulfillment begins

The form will ask for your preferred name/online handle, a link to your portfolio or anywhere you have examples of your artwork, your contact email and a small description of (or link to) your OC you would like to submit!

This zine will not feature nsfw art so please keep that in mind when submitting.

This is a curated book and due to its very small size we won’t be able to take in everyone. We’ve seen so much great content shared on tumblr and twitter already and we wish we could gather it all! The #BHNAOC tag has been amazing thing to watch grow, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting this fun project!
