At the beginning of inquisition, Zev Lavellan would have learned of Solas’ plan and been more than okay with it. Sacrifice the world and bring back the glory of the elves? It would have seemed a great idea to him, he didn’t care much for humans and didn’t know much about Qunari and Dwarves to feel too attached.
But by the end, by the time Trespasser rolls around he’s uncomfortable with the idea. He still lights up at the idea of that ancient world being brought back, of elves finding true freedom and a home that cares for them. But he’s got friends now. He’s got Dorian and Bull. He’s met people of different races who have shown him their worth, who have fought beside him and cared for him and made him laugh. The idea of letting them all die is painful, and while a deep part of him wants to see what kind of world Solas would create, or bring back rather, he still wants to fight for the current world. He wants it better, wants elves brought up from their low standing, but not at the sacrifice of his lovers and friends.
